Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated 20 August 2026
This policy explains how Devim Metal Works L.L.C ("we", "us") handles information when you use milling.ae (the "Site"). We keep it short and only describe what we actually do.
Who we are
Devim Metal Works L.L.C, a limited liability company licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (trade licence 1254406, commercial register 2117056), at Warehouse 12, Dubai Investment Park 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Questions about this policy, or about your data: fast@milling.aeor +971 4 388 8507.
What we collect and why
Analytics, only if you accept. With your consent we use PostHog to understand how the Site is used: pages viewed, clicks, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the site you came from. This tells us which services people look for and where the site is confusing. It is served through our own domain, it stays off until you choose "Accept" in the cookie bar, and you can change your mind at any time on theCookie Preferences page. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not record your screen.
Quote requests. When you send an enquiry through the quote form we collect your name, email address, phone number, the production volume you selected, your budget if you choose to give one, your project description, and any files you attach. We use this to prepare and send you a quotation and to follow up on it. Your submission is stored in our Google Drive, emailed to our engineering desk, and summarised to an internal Telegram channel so the team sees it quickly. If you attach drawings or CAD files, those go to Google Drive as well.
Recording that an enquiry happened, without cookies. When a form is submitted successfully, our server records the event itself: which form, which production volume, whether files were attached, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address. We do this because ad-blockers and cookie choices otherwise hide a large share of real enquiries from us, and we would be measuring our own sales pipeline wrongly. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, it cannot be reversed back into your email address, and it does not depend on the cookie bar. Your name, phone number, budget and project description are never sent to our analytics.
Job applications. If you apply through the careers page we collect your name, email, place of residence, the position you are applying for, your expected salary if you choose to give one, and your CV. We use it to assess your application and to contact you about it. Applications are stored in our Google Drive, emailed to our HR desk, logged as a row in an internal Google Sheet used to track candidates, and summarised to an internal Telegram channel.
The "use my location" button on the careers form. That button is entirely optional and does nothing unless you press it and then allow your browser's location prompt. If you do, your device sends its coordinates to our server, we round them to roughly the nearest kilometre, and we ask a geocoding provider (BigDataCloud) to turn them into a city and country so we can fill the field in for you. Your browser never contacts that provider directly, so it never sees your IP address. We keep only the text that ends up in the field, which you can edit or clear; the coordinates themselves are never stored. Typing your location by hand instead involves none of this.
Supplier registration. If you register as a supplier we collect your company name, website, contact name and email, category, certifications, traceability status and any proposal document you attach, so we can assess you as a potential vendor.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe, and every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
When you contact us directly. If you email us at fast@milling.ae, or call, we use what you share to respond and we keep a record of the correspondence.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site sets nothing on your device until you accept. Declining leaves the Site fully usable, including the quote form.

Who else sees your information
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf: Google (Drive and Sheets, for storing submissions, attachments and the candidate tracker),BigDataCloud (turning coordinates into a city name, only when you press the location button on the careers form), SMTP2Go (delivering our notification email), Telegram (internal notification of new enquiries), and PostHog (analytics, only if you accept, hosted in the United States). We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and the correspondence around them: 24 months from your last contact with us, so we can handle repeat orders and warranty questions, and longer where accounting rules require it. Job applications: 12 months, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Supplier registrations: for as long as you remain an approved or candidate supplier. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Analytics events: 12 months.
Where your information goes
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and some of our providers (Google, PostHog) process data in the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer personal data out of the UAE, the EEA or the UK, we rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Emailfast@milling.ae and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also reset the cookie bar so you can make a fresh choice.
